CTS started in 2003 over one thing – computer speakers
In June of 2003, Nate Deskins volunteered to help a neighbor who had a computer issue. She had no sound. The neighbor complained she was told her computer “was too old to play sound” and “she probably had a virus” by 2 separate technicians. Freshly certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional and Systems Administrator, Nate was curious of the complexity of the issue that seemed to stump 2 separate technicians but within a few minutes he realized that the speakers simply weren’t plugged in!
After solving the problem (and eating the cookies he received as payment!), Nate realized that the situation was just one example of how the IT field can be where sometimes accountability and integrity is not a given. Keeping those principles in mind, CTS was conceived and for the rest of the year regularly serviced home users, and through their referrals, small businesses as well.
In the start of 2004, the vision of CTS was clear: To provide a one-stop shop as an IT Solutions Provider. The goal is not just to fix what’s broken, but to incorporate technology to truly provide a solution for businesses to increase their profits and lower the Total Cost of Ownership.
